Liam Jones, originally from Ballina, Co.Mayo, has been painting the wild and rugged Western seabird and particularly the Connemara region the a developing and distinctive oil technique for many years.

This year he has produced a series of medium to large paintings of the surrounding hills and coastal landscapes of Clifden, which we are proud to display in our gallery.
